I'm glad I found this website so that I could send you a message.
I have already thanked you for what you did for my Dad, but that was on a beer mat and passed to your guitarist at one of your shows in Birmingham (The Barn Social) many years ago.
I wasn't actually at your show that night and just happened to be in the building, so it was a case of running in, passing on the beer mat and leaving, so I never knew for sure if you got the message.
My Dad was Peter (the Birmingham City fan) and he always came to see you and the lads when you were doing the circuit in Birmingham.
He often had his three sisters (and sometimes me) with him and he was always allowed to come backstage to spend some time with you as you'd both got to know each other personally.
When my Dad was terminally ill, you sent him a card to let him know that you were thinking about him and this meant so much to him at a very difficult time.
Believe it or not, it was 25 years since he died at the age of 54 back in August of this year.
I have very fond memories of coming to see you as a kid (and young adult) and I will always be grateful for you taking the time and having the care to contact my Dad as you did.
