Happy Birthday Mike! I hope you had a lovely day. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your band at Rutherglen during the 60s Festival and I hope you'll sing "Summer of '69"!

See you on 25th March!

Thanks Mike, to you and all of The Searchers, past and present, for providing us with such brilliant music over the years. If the 40th. Anniversary CD could do as well as it did, why oh why doesn't somebody have the foresight to promote "The Sire Sessions" as strongly? Brilliant!

I have loved the Searchers and Mikes playing and singing since I first heard them in the sixties. Thank you for the great music and the memories.

What a good site this is. Nice to hear Mike is still going strong. Wish they could do a gig here in Orkney. Maybe one day. I have been a searchers fan since the sixties. Good luck to you all.

I wonder if Mike knows that the snooker playing Scot, John Higgins, the current UK Champion, has adopted Needles and Pins as his entrance music?

I'm not a snooker fan, but I watched the start of the programme tonight and copied it from the TV!

During John's UK Championship games a few weeks ago, due to his dad being very ill with Cancer, John decided to enter the snooker hall to his dad's favourite song, Needles and Pins, instead of the usual music played as players enter the hall.

Since then, John has decided to continue using Needles and Pins, so perhaps it will become very popular and played more on the radio!

Like Patricia (75) I was in the audience on Aurora in Carmens. It took me back to my teenage years when the group was one of my favourites. Good to hear the hit singles again and live. Keep up the good work and hope to see Mike again on the ship.
