RIP Ronnie Ravey

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Ronnie Ravey, the well known singer and front man of The Dakotas.

Ronnie joined them in 2010 as the front man when it was decided to return The Dakotas to a five-piece band.  He had a most engaging personality that audiences really loved and of course many of you will have seen them when backing Mike on the Sensational Sixties' tours as well as at other gigs.

They always gave a great backing to Mike and knew his music well and how it was to be played. Unfortunately in 2023 there was a fall out with the Sensational Sixties' Promoters that led to the Dakotas leaving the tour and the band retiring and being replaced by Vanity Fare.

A lovely and very talented guy was Ronnie - You will be missed.
